               Leslie S. Turner, Esq.

   In 1986 Leslie S. Turner, Esq. worked as a General

   Attorney in the Howard County Legal Aid Office.

   In 1987 Turner served as an Assistant State’s

   Attorney in Howard County and later became the

   first African American U.S. Immigration Assistant

   District Counsel in Baltimore, Maryland.

 

   In  2001 Turner unsuccessfully  sought an

   appointment to the Howard County District Court

   bench. 


  During the past two decades Turner has vigorously

   worked to help raise and award thousands of dollars

   in scholarship funds for local college-bound high

   school students through various charitable
   organizations in Howard County, Maryland.
