Native Howard Countian Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge
In 1997 the Hon. Marcella Holland, a native Howard Countian, became a Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge. Judge Holland formerly served as an Assistant States Attorney in Baltimore City, Maryland.
In 2004 Judge Holland received the Rosalyn B. Bell Award from the Women’s Law Center for her work in family law.
Judge Holland is the daughter of the late Reverend John Wesley Holland, Sr., an early strong community advocate for equality and former Howard County NAACP President.
