    Executive Administrative Law Judge &

       Deputy Director Operations (OAH)

 

   In 1995 Hon. Wayne A. Brooks was appointed as

   an Administrative Law Judge for the Office of

   Administrative Hearings and currently serves as

   the Executive Administrative Law Judge and

   Deputy Director of Operations for the Office of

   Administrative Hearings.

 

   In 2007-2008 Judge Brooks presided as the first

   African American President  of the Howard

   County Bar Association (HCBA) and his term

   concluded in June 2008. 

 

   During his (HCBA) presidency, Judge Brooks

   worked to strengthen the professional

   bonds between all members of the Howard

   County Bar Association and to promote a shared

   spirit of professionalism.

 

   Judge Brooks was an unsuccessful candidate for

   a Howard County District Court judgeship in 2002

   and has been active in local community and

   charitable events.
